The #25-ranked Washington Huskies (2-0) travel to Salt Lake City to face the Utah Utes (3-0) on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the ESPN Plus Network.
The Utah program is a March Madness mainstay with four straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Washington suffered a home loss in its last matchup versus the Utes on Dec. 14, 2024, 57-67.
Washington Huskies Preview
The undefeated Dawgs return to action after two consecutive home blowout victories versus Seattle and Montana, respectively.
Washington’s offense averages 88.5 points per game; while Washington’s defense holds opponents to 49.5 points per game.
The Huskies are highly efficient scoring at the rim (within 4.5 feet) making 66% of their shots; meanwhile, Washington is shooting a respectable 35% from three-point range.
Junior point guard Sayvia Sellers leads the Huskies team-leading 20.0 points per game; a team-leading 5.5 assists per game; as well as a team-leading 2.0 steals per game.
Sayvia is shooting a scorching 40% (4 for 10) from three-point range; while making 81.3% (13 for 16) of her two-point attempts; and converting 100% (10 for 10) at the rim within 4.5 feet.
Freshman Australian guard Sienna Harvey is UW’s (somewhat surprising) second-leading scorer at 12.0 points per game.
Notably, in Washington’s season opener versus Seattle, Harvey scored 15 points in 16 minutes.
Sienna Harvey really has benefited from increased opportunities due to the absence of Elle Ladine (who has missed the first two games due to an undisclosed injury).
6’0″ guard Avery Howell, the USC transfer, is the Huskies third leading scorer with 11.5 points per game; as well as the second-leading rebounder with 6.0 rebounds per game.
Howell is living up to her sharp-shooting reputation by making 62.5% from three-point range.
Yulia Graboskaia, the Michigan transfer, leads the Dawgs with 6.5 rebounds per game; and is UW’s fourth-leading scorer with 9.0 points per game.

Grabovskaia has been a dominant offensive force inside the lane for the Huskies by making 62.5% of her shots at the rim (within 4.5 feet); as well as 75% efficiency from further away in the lane.
As mentioned above, senior guard Elle Ladinehas not yet played for the Huskies this season. It is unclear at this time if she will play versus Utah.
Utah Utes Preview
The undefeated Utah Utes are coming off their victories over Sioux Falls, Utah State and Utah Valley.
Utah’s offense averages 84.3 points per game; while the Utes’ defense holds opponents to 55.7 points per game.
The Utes feature four players averaging double figures in scoring.
The Utes are led by Virginia Tech transfer Lani White, who is averaging 14.3 points per game.
A 6’0″ guard, White is a versatile three-level scorer: shooting 46.2% from three-point range; 80% on all two-point attempts; converting 66.7% at the rim; as well as 100% further away in the lane.
Maty Wilke is Utah’s second-leading scorer at 11.3 points per game.
Wilke is a three-point specialist making 63.6% of her attempts from deep range.
Avery Hjelmstad is the Utes third-leading scorer at 11.0 points per game.
Hjelmstad is a volume three-point shooter with a quick release that converts 36.4% of her three-point attempts.
Brooke Walker is Utah’s fourth-leading scorer at 10.0 points per game.
The 5’9″ guard is an inside-out scoring threat that makes the occasional corner three (2 for 2); as well as scoring with high efficiency in the lane — 100% efficiency at the rim (within 4.5 feet) and 66.7% from farther away in the lane.
