To secure the victory over Michigan, the UW Huskies will need to:
(1) contain Michigan’s multi-guard offense with tough defense by limiting and contesting three-point shot attempts, as well as cutting off the Wolverines’ dribble penetration into the lane;
(2) contest Michigan’s inside-the-paint offense by contesting all shots in the lane, including post-ups and dribble-drive shot attempts;
(3) limit Michigan’s offensive rebounds and second chance opportunities;
(4) efficiently execute Washington’s offense to limit turnovers to 10 or less, while forcing 10 or more turnovers by Michigan; and
(5) make at least 33% of the Huskies’ three-point attempts — with at least eight (8) made threes.
This will be another tough road contest for the Huskies to secure the road win.
