On Thursday afternoon, the Washington Huskies avoided a potentially devastating home loss to the winless Cal. State-Fullerton Titans (0-5), 62-58.
The Huskies dodged a serious bullet as the Titans shot a season-high (but mediocre) 41% from the field overall yet somehow managed to keep the game’s outcome in doubt until the final seconds.
Somehow, Washington shot (an even more unimpressive) 40% from the field overall (24 for 49).
