The undefeated Washington Huskies (3-0) are back in action, hosting the Eastern Washington Eagles(0-1 in Division One play), on Thursday, November 14th at 6 p.m. (also on the B1G TEN PLUS NETWORK).

The Huskies are looking for their fourth straight blowout victory at home this season.

On November 4th, the Eastern Washington Eagles took the Washington State Cougars to the wire before losing 82-83 on the road.

The Eagles recorded their first victory of the season on November 9th, defeating Walla Walla University (an NAIA program) 81-33.

Offensively, the Eagles are mostly a threat from three-point range making 62.5% of their 16.0 attempts per game from deep.

Peyton Howard, a 5’10” guard, is the Eagles leading scorer at 25.0 points per game.

Against the Washington State Cougars (the Eagles only Division One competition, thus far), Howard scored 25 points in 27 minutes while shooting 60% from three-point range.

Other sharp-shooting Eagles players, all shooting 50% from three-point range versus the Cougs, include:

5’9″ guard Ellie Boni ;

6’2″ forward Jaecy Eggers;

as well as, 5’10 guard Ella Gallatin.

To secure the victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles, the UW Huskies will need to:

(1) Defensively limit and contest Peyton Howard’s three-point attempts;

(2) force turnovers and push tempo to score in transition and wear down the Eagles with the Huskies’ depth of quality guard play; and

(3) dominate the Eagles inside-the-paint offensively and defensively with their significant frontcourt height advantage.

The Washington Huskies should dominate this game from start to finish and win by 20+ points.

Huskies Win Probability: 95%
