In their third regular season game, the Washington Huskies (3-0) overwhelmed the Siena Saints in a home blowout, 94-51.
The Washington Huskies shot a scorching 50% from three-point range, while making 14 threes (14 for 28).
The Huskies also shot 77.8% within 4.5 feet of the basket (1 for 18) from three-point range; while shooting 60.5% from two-point range; as well 56.1% shooting (37 for 66)overall.
In addition, the Dawgs scored 44 points in the paint, recorded 24 fastbreak points and scored 22 points off the Saints’ 16 turnovers.
Meanwhile, Huskies defenders smothered the Saints offense which shot only 33.9% overall (20 for 59), including 14.3% from three-point range(2 for 14).
1st Quarter
The Dawgs went on a 19-0 scoring run early in the first period to seize the lead , 26 – 4.
The Huskies finished the first quarter with a decisive, 33-10, lead
The Huskies were led by Dalayah Daniels with eight points; Teagan Brown with seven points; Hannah Stines with six points; Elle Ladine with five points; Chloe Briggs with four points; and Shayla Gilme added three points.
In the first quarter, the Huskies shot 73.7% overall (14 of 19) and 80% (4 for 5) from three-point range.
2nd Quarter
In the second period, the Washington Huskies outscored the Siena Saints, 26 to 15.
Washington shot 57.9% (11 for 19)overall; including 50% shooting from three-point range (4 for 8).
The Huskies were led by Chloe Briggs with 9 points in the second period; followed by Elle Ladine with five points; Dalayah Daniels added four points; Hannah Stines and Shayla Gilmer added 3 points each; and Tayra Eke scored two points.
At halftime, the Dawgs held a 34-point lead over Siena, 59-25.
3rd Quarter
In the third quarter, the Huskies continued their hot shooting from three-point range shooting 42.9% (3 for 7).
The Huskies were led in scoring by Elle Ladine with 11 points in the third period; Hannah Stines added 5 points; Teagan Brown an Chloe Briggs with 3 points each; and one point by Breann McDonald.
Washington held a commanding 80-39 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
4th Quarter
In the final period, Washington cruised to a 94-51 victory by shooting 37.5% (3 for 8) from three-point range; although only shooting 35.7% overall (5 for 14).
In the fourth quarter, freshman Devon Coppinger led the Huskies with eight points; Sayvia Sellers added three points; Shayla Gilmer added two points; and Olivia Anderson scored one point.

In 21 minutes of playing tome, Elle Ladine led the Huskies with 21 points by shooting a blazing 62.5% from three-point range (5 for 8) and 50% in the paint (3 for 6) — she made 47.1% of her shots overall (8 for 17).
Elle also recorded 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
