The Washington Huskies (8-0) jumped out to an early lead on San Francisco and kept their advantage for the rest of the game to secure the blowout victory, 63-39.
Washington shot a below average 45.3% from the field overall.
The Huskies shot 55.6% from two-point range, but were cold from beyond the arc — UW shot 23.5% (4 for 17) from three-point range.

However, Washington’s defense overwhelmed San Francisco’s offense, as the Dons shot a mere 21.4% from beyond the arc (6 for 28); and USF shot an equally tepid 25% on two-pointers versus Huskies defenders.

UW out-rebounded their smaller USF opponents, 44-31.
Likewise, points-in-the-paint were a huge advantage for the Huskies, as they outscored the Dons 36-10 inside.
A huge red flag, however, was that the Huskies committed 17 turnovers.
Meanwhile the Dons committed 14 turnovers for the game — and the Huskies converted 18 points off those turnovers.
The Huskies only dished out 12 assists for the game — down from their 15.6 assists average before the game.
1st Quarter
The Huskies began the game with an 8-0 scoring run that put the Dons in early scramble mode and UW led by 10-2 with 4:55 to go in the first period.
Elle Ladine led the Huskies with 8 points in the quarter.
Washington led 16-7 at the end of the first quarter.
2nd Quarter
The Huskies outscored the Dons 12-6 in the relatively low-scoring 2nd quarter.
UW’s offense struggled as the Dawgs shot 38.6% from the field (4 for 13) and only made 16.7% of their three-point attempts (1-6).
Chloe Briggs and Dalayah Daniels scored 3 points each to lead the Dawgs in the quarter.
The Huskies went on a 12-3 run to end the second period.
At halftime, the Dawgs had built a 15-point lead, 28-13.
3rd Quarter
The Huskies outscored USF 18-14 in the third period.
The Huskies shot 50% (5 for 10) from the field overall and 75% (3 for 4) from beyond the arc in the third quarter.
Hannah Stines and Lauren Schwarz had a team-leading 5 points for the Huskies in the third period.
UW’s largest lead was 20 points, 41-21, with 3:37 to go.
Washington led 57-36 heading into the fourth quarter.
4th Quarter
In the final period, the Washington Huskies outscored San Francisco 17-12.
Despite the Huskies shooting 0 for 5 from three-point range, the Dawgs secured the victory, 63-39.
Olivia Anderson had a team-leading 5 points in the final period; she was followed by Ari Long, Teagan Brown and Elle Ladine with 4 points each.
