In front of a raucous home crowd for the WNIT Super 16 game on Friday night, the Washington Huskies came back from an eight-point halftime deficit to Kansas State and responded with a second half surge that carried them to victory, 55-48.

The fourth period was tightly contested as Washington only outscored Kansas State by two points, 18-16.
