Second Quarter
After a sizzling hot first quarter, UW’s offense fizzled in the second period — the Huskies shot 28.6% overall and 20% from three-point range.
On the other hand, New Mexico took control of the game with a barrage of six (6) three-pointers in the second period.
New Mexico shot 53.3% in the the second period, to take a 2-point lead to end the quarter, 31-29.

UW was led by Lauren Schwartz’s three points in the second period.
Third Quarter
New Mexico outscored the Huskies in the third quarter, 17 to 12.
The Huskies tied the game at 33 early in the quarter but the Lobos responded with an offensive surge to take a 10-point lead.
Lauren Schwartz and Jayda Noble led the Huskies with a team-leading 4 points each in the third period.
Washington trailed 48-41 at the end of the third period.
Fourth Quarter
The final period began with a 7-0 run by Washington to tie the game at 48-48.
The teams traded three pointers to tied at 51-51.
Then Washington seized control of the game with a 10-0 run sparked by the offensive explosion of freshman guard Elle Ladine to lead 58-51 with 4 minutes and 9 seconds left in the game.
Elle Ladine was perfect in the fourth quarter while scoring a team-leading 11 points in the period — 100% overall from the field (5 for 5) and perfect from three-point range (1 for 1).
