The No. 8 seed Washington Huskies finished the season with a first-round loss to No. 9 seed Oregon, 52-50, on Wednesday in the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas.
Washington made the game interesting but faltered late.
Meanwhile, Oregon’s two starting guards dominated the Huskies defense with 41 points of the Ducks’ 52 total points — Endyia Rogers scored 28 points and Te-Hina Paopao scored 13 points.
Game Summary
1st Quarter
Oregon jumped out to an early 11-2 lead over Washington, as the Huskies started the game with very cold shooting.
The Huskies shot 28.6% overall (4 for 14) and 25% from three-point range (1 for4) in the first period.

Oregon led 13-9 at the end of the first period.
However, after their hot start, the Ducks had their own struggles as they shot 13.3% (2 for 15) for almost 13 minutes of the first half.
2nd Quarter
Washington’s offense warmed up in the second quarter and the took advantage of Oregon’s cold streak.

The Huskies shot 52.9% overall (9 for 17) and went on a 23-6 run that gave UW the lead, 25-17.

But then, the Oregon backcourt’s offense began to warm up as the second period was winding down — as PaoPao anf Rogers combined for eight points in the final 2:32 of the second quarter.
Going into halftime, the Dawgs held a slim 2-point lead over the Ducks, 29-27.
Washington’s first half scoring leaders were Haley Van Dyke and Trinity Oliver with 7 points each; and Dalayah Daniels added 6 points.
3rd Quarter
The third quarter was a very low scoring affair for both teams, however, UW edged the Ducks, 11-9, in the third period.
Both teams struggled shooting— the Huskies shot only 28.6% overall and 0.0% from three-point range; and Oregon shot 26.7% overall and 16.7% from deep.

At the end of the third period, the Dawgs held a 4-point lead, 40-36, over the Ducks.
4th Quarter
The Huskies seemingly had victory within their reach as they led by seven points with 7:19 to go in the fourth quarter.
But Endyia Rogers took the game over in the final 4:46, as she scored 10 points against the Huskies defense.
With Paopao adding a clutch three-pointer, the Ducks staged a furious comeback to take a 51-50 lead over the Huskies with one minute and 28 seconds remaining on the clock.
Only Huskies freshman guard Hannah Stines answered UW’s call for help and provided seven points in the final three minutes — one midrange pull-up jumper; a three-pointer and a driving lefthand layup.
