SEATTLE, Wash. –
On Sunday, November 20th at 5PM, the Washington Huskies women’s basketball program will play their fourth game of the 2022-23 regular season against the Idaho State Bengals at Hec Ed.

The game will be streamed on the Pac-12 Network.
Head coachTina Langley starts her second season at the helm of the Washington Women’s Basketball program with three straight victories to begin the 2022-23 season.
As usual, expect the Huskies to look to assert their dominance inside on offense and defense against the Bengals.
UW Offense
The Washington Huskies are averaging 77 points per game.
Offensively, Washington is shooting 54.9% on two-pointers, which is in the top 9% of all Division One teams.
However, most of UW’s points have come within 4.5 feet of the rim, where they are shooting 63.7% (58 for 91).

Deep diving further, the Huskies next highest shooting percentage is inside the lane farther than 4.5 feet (38.5%), followed by corner three-pointers (35.7%); mid-range shots outside the lane (31.3%); and finally, Washington only shoots 20.4% from three-point range straightaway/above the break.
In addition, the Huskies are averaging 17.7 offensive rebounds per game, which ranks in the Top 4% nationwide.
UW Defense
Defensively, the Washington Huskies are limiting opponents to only 34 two-point attempts per game, which ranks in the Top 12% nationwide.
Likewise, the Huskies are averaging 27.3 defensive rebounds per game, which ranks in the Top 4% nationwide.
The Huskies defense is particularly good at defending inside-the-paint two-pointers (farther than 4.5 feet, not at the rim) — where UW opponents are only generating 15.6% of their shot attempts; as well as, defending mid-range two-pointers where opponents are only generating 8.9% of their shot attempts.
On the other hand, the Huskies are allowing 26 three-point attempts per game which ranks in the Bottom 7% of all Division One defenses; and opponents are shooting 33.3% from three-point range which ranks in the Bottom 27% of all Division One defenses.
Idaho State
The Idaho State Bengals were picked to finish No. 8 in the conference’s Preseason Big West Coaches Poll and No. 6 in the Preseason Media Polls.
Idaho State is led by their 14th year head coach Seton Sobolewski.
On the court, the Bengals are led by Callie Bourne — she averages 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 37.7 minutes.

Finley Garnett is the second-leading scorer for the Bengals at only 7.0 points per game, while adding 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals.

Offensively, Garnett takes her limited number of shots almost equally from inside the lane (12 attempts) and from straightaway three-point range (nine attempts) — with higher than average efficiency.

Laura Bello is the third leading scorer, averaging 6.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals and 0.5 block per game – very well-rounded player.

On offense, Bello operates exclusively in the paint and mid-range areas. Bello has attempted zero threes this year.

Overall, Idaho State only averages 47 points per game, which ranks in the bottom 5% of all Division One teams.
By far, Idaho State does most of its scoring inside the paint, hitting 51.14% of their shots within 4.5 feet of the rim (19 for 37) and 36.1% of their shots in the lane farther than 4.5 feet (13 for 36).
