On Monday, March 29th, the first repercussions from the firing of Jody Wynn hit as a key part of the Women’s Basketball program — Huskies 6’3″ center Quay Miller, a Jody Wynn recruit -– signaled that she is transferring from the University of Washington with an instagram post, stating:
Zero out, thank you Husky fan’s🐺
With Miller’s announcement that she plans to transfer, the sophomore big will now play her final two seasons elsewhere.
In many ways, last season was Quay Milller’s breakout performance as she visibly elevated her game, physically and mentally.
Quay Miller started every game of the 2020-2021 season.
Miller was the team’s third leading scorer at 9.9 points per game.
Quay was the team’s leading rebounder at 6.0 rebounds per game.
Surprisingly, Miller finished 10th in the PAC-12 conference in steals with 1.7 per game.
We at UDUBWBB.com will certainly miss covering Quay and wish her all the best in the future.
