This afternoon, a University of Washington Athletics press release confirmed that the PAC-12 conference moved Washington’s Sunday, December 6th road matchup with conference favorite Stanford to Las Vegas.
The tipoff will now be at 2pm at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas – the home of University of Las Vegas basketball.
The Huskies will now face #2-nationally ranked Stanford at a neutral site, which sounds like good news for the Dawgs.
The Washington Huskies played their first two games of this season in Las Vegas — at the T-Mobile Arena and the South Point Arena.
There are no details at this time regarding the reason for the site change.
