A 6’3″ left-handed Aussie guard, Olivia (Liv) Pollerd, announced her commitment to Jody Wynn’s University of Washington women’s basketball program with an Instagram post on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Pollerd is a former 2021 Duke commit, like recent Husky commit Marisa Davis-Jones, and will add another versatile player to the 2021 mix along with Avery Van Sickle, Jess Finney and AJ Marotte.
Pollerd demonstrates deep 3-point shooting range with an easy and smooth shooting motion.
Her playing style is an interesting mix of the other 2021 Huskies recruits, i.e., (some of) the ball-handing creativity of Finney; shooting range of Van Sickle and inside-outside game of 2021 wing Marotte.
The Huskies now have five 2021 recruits with versatile skills and position flexibility.
Pollerd has valuable international basketball experience, recently representing Australia in Under 20 nationals play on a stacked roster that included Gemma Potter and Isobel Anstey (UCLA), Agnes Emma-Nnopu (Stanford), Lily Scanlon (Gonzaga) and Lara Edmonson (Santa Clara).
This continues Jody Wynn’s Aussie recruiting pipeline that started with center Darcy Rees and led to the recent signing of junior college transfer point guard Grace Beasley to the 2020 class.
The Huskies continue to load their 2021 class of recruits with players that should be ready to contribute when they arrive on campus.
Now factor in the talented and versatile 2020 newcomers — freshman recruits Jayda Noble, Alexis Whitfield, Tameiya Sadler, as well as impact redshirt freshman Nia Lowery and Aussie transfer Beasley — and the Huskies will enjoy a considerable talent wave over the next two seasons.
The future definitely looks bright.
GO DAWGS!!
