Per the Instagram account of the former guard for the Washington Huskies Women’s Basketball program, Rita Pleskevich is transferring to Florida Atlantic University for her final year of basketball eligibility.
Last season, Rita Pleskevich started 20 games in her only season at Washington.
Pleskevich averaged 2.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game for the Huskies, with a season-high 15 points versus #8 ranked UCLA in the Washington’s home upset win.
Rita, a former member of the Russian Federation’s Junior National basketball team, started her career at Broward College, a junior college in Miami.
Under head coach Jim Jabir, the Florida Atlantic womens basketball team finished the 2019-2020 season with a record of 13-17 overall.
