To secure the victory over Iowa, the UW Huskies will need to:
(1) contain Iowa’s leading scorer and offensive catalyst, Lucy Olson, by limiting and contesting her mid-range shots and corner three-pointers– as well as limit her playmaking ability by challenging her dribble penetration;
(2) aggressively contest Addison O’Grady’s mid-range shots, as well as her inside-the-paint offense (including post-ups and second chance opportunities);
(3) prevent Hannah Stuelke from establishing an offensive presence in the lane by limiting her post-ups and second chance opportunities;
(4) efficiently execute Washington’s offense to limit turnovers to 10 or less, while forcing 10 or more turnovers by Iowa; and
(5) make at least 33% of the Huskies’ three-point attempts — with at least eight (8) made threes.
This should be a tough physical game well into the fourth quarter.
Huskies Win Probability: 60%
