Bass is inefficient from three-point range, shooting a meager 22.6% (7 for 31).
To secure the victory over Purdue, the UW Huskies will need to:
(1) contain Destini Lombard, Purdue’s leading three-point threat and offensive catalyst, by limiting and contesting all her three-point shot attempts, as well as cutting off Lombard’s dribble penetration into the lane;
(2) contest Reagan Bass’inside-the-paint offense by contesting all her shots in the lane, including post-ups and second chance opportunities;
(3) efficiently execute Washington’s offense to limit turnovers to 10 or less, while forcing 10 or more turnovers by Purdue; and
(4) make at least 33% of the Huskies’ three-point attempts — with at least eight (8) made threes.
This should be an easy home victory for the Dawgs by 10+ points.
