In their last game before facing Washington, Washington State lost at California in overtime, 73-72.

Senior 6’3″ center Bella Murekatete is the second-leading scorer for the Washington State Cougars at 13.7 points per game.

Murekatete is not a three-point threat at all — with zero three-point attempts this season (0%).

An excellent shooter from all areas of the court, Villa is a bit of a x-factor offensive weapon for the Cougars.

Charlisse Leger-Walker by:
(1) playing good transition defense;
(2) cutting off her dribble-drive lane penetration; and
(3) tightly contesting her three-point shots.
