Washington Huskies freshman wing, Olivia Pollerd, has confirmed with UDUBWBB.com that she entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Thursday, March 3rd.
When she decommitted from Duke to sign with ex-Huskies head coach Jody Wynn’s #17-ranked recruiting class of 2021, Pollerd was ranked #22 among all international prospects in her age group by the 2021 Global Rankings of Worldwide Hoops/Premier Basketball.
The 6’3″ Aussie wing played on Australia’s 2019 FIBA Under 17 team at the Oceania Championships — where she averaged a team-high 23.4 minutes per game, and was second in scoring at 13.2 points on 61.7% shooting.
After building an international reputation as a long distance sharpshooter, Pollerd was miscast as a high post player for the Huskies (in the small amount of playing time that she received).

As we documented earlier in the season, Pollerd was not receiving significant playing time from Head Coach Tina Langley.
As we (Pollerd does not) seem to be in Coach Langley’s plans for the future, since (she) received little to no PAC-12 game experience — instead racking up DNPs, i.e., “Did Not Play – Coach’s Decision.”
