Avery Howell, a 6’0″ freshman guard for the USC Trojans, has committed to transfer to play for the Washington Huskies.
A former McDonald’s All American and ESPN 5-Star recruit, Avery Howell was ranked as the No. 23 national prospect in her class by ESPN; and was selected as an alternate on Team Canada basketball for the 2024 Olympics.
A Boise native, Howell was a two-time Gatorade Idaho Player of the Year.
In her initial recruitment out of high school, Avery Howell had the University of Washington in her final five schools she considered before signing a national letter of intent with the USC Trojans.
