The Washington Huskies fought tooth and nail in a low-scoring duel with the Michigan Wolverines, until a five-minute third quarter drought by the Huskies resulted in a 58-66 defeat.
For the game, the Washington Huskies offense struggled, shooting 40.4% overall (23 for 57); and 22.2% from three-point range (4 for 18).
Meanwhile, Michigan Wolverines offense was only slightly more efficient than the Huskies: shooting 44.8% overall (26 for 58); and 25% from three-point range (4 for 16).

In 36 minutes of play, Dalayah Daniels scored 22 points on 76.9% (10 for 13) shooting overall.
Daniels added 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal.

1st Quarter
In a low-scoring first quarter, the Huskies scored 13 points, shooting 42.9% overall (6 of 14) and 25% (1 for 4) from three-point range.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines scored 14 points in the quarter, on 40% shooting overall (6 for 15) and 28.6% (2 for 7) from three-point range.
The Huskies were led by Dalayah Daniels with six points; Hannah Stines with three points; with Sayvia Sellers and Elle Ladine adding two points each.
The Huskies trailed by one point to end the first period, 13-14.
2nd Quarter
In the second period, Washington scored 15 points, shooting 46.2% (6 for 13) from the field overall; and 50% (1 for 2) from three-point range.
Michigan’s offense also scored 15 points, shooting only 31.6% (6 for 19) shooting from the field overall; and 0% (0 for 2) shooting from three-point range.
The Huskies were led by Sayvia Sellers with five points; Dalayah Daniels and Teagan Brown added four points each; and Hannah Stines added two points.
Heading into halftime, the Huskies still trailed by one point, 28-29.

3rd Quarter
The end of the third quarter featured a 16-2 scoring run by Michigan, during a five-minute scoreless stretch for the Huskies, that sealed Washington’s fate.
The Dawgs posted only 13 points in the third period on 33% (5 for 15) shooting overall and 20% from three-point range (1 for 5).
However, Michigan scored 23 points in the third quarter, on 52.6% shooting overall (10 for 19) –despite only shooting 28.6% from three-point range (2 of 7).
Washington was led in scoring by Elle Ladine’s seven points; Dalayah Daniels added four points; and Sayvie Sellers contributed two points.
The Huskies fell behind by 11 points heading into the final period, 41-52

In the final period, the Huskies attempted to mount a comeback but struggled despite, scoring 17 points: shooting 40% (6 for 15) overall; and only 14.3% shooting (1 for 7) from three-point range.
In the fourth period, Washington was led by Dalayah Daniels with eight points; Elle Ladine with seven points; and Sayvia Sellers added two points each.
The Huskies lost, 58-66, to the Wolverines, thus ending their B1G Ten Tournament run.
