Washington’s Khayla Rooks Enters NCAA Transfer Portal, Leaving UW WBB

Khayla Rooks, 6’1″ senior for the Washington Huskies, has entered her name in the NCAA Transfer Portal and is officially transferring from the University of Washington.

Rooks is not listed on the official 2021-2022 roster for the Washington Huskies.

This announcement follows the recent transfers of Tameiya Sadler and Quay Miller to Colorado.

Rooks is the only remaining Husky in the NCAA Transfer Portal (Haley Van Dyke and Nia Lowery recently returned to the Huskies from the Portal).

Rooks started in 14 games for the Huskies last season.

Khayla, a do-everything guard/forward, was second in assists for the Huskies; as well as, fourth in rebounding and third-best in three-point shooting percentage.
