On February 9, the Washington Huskies Women’s basketball team defeated the University of Colorado, 61-52.
Multiple Huskies held Colorado offensive players scoreless although on limited possessions: Rita Pleskevich (2 possessions defended); Haley Van Dyke (1); Khayla Rooks(1); Ali Bamberger(1); and Lexi Griggsby (1).
Amber Melgoza (9) and TT (8) had the highest defensive possessions for the Huskies with the most impressive results; both Amber and TT held opponents to 33% shooting from the field.
